Whilst $3.12m is nothing when it comes to stuff like the MCU it's very good when you consider it was filmed secretly immediately after X.
X itself only cost $1m and it was very successful making just under $15m worldwide. So it's estimated Pearl cost next to nothing in modern cinema terms. |
