I did go to some dicey ones in Liverpool Royal Court though, similar layout to the Apollo but about half the size, Sepultura touring Chaos AD
Funnily enough probably the wildest indoor gig i've ever been to was Ratt at the international II in Manchester.

They were supporting the Detonator album and the crowd were mental all the way through. The whole room was a mass bodies smashing into each other the whole show. F*cking Ratt.

It was crazier than Suicidal Tendencies at the same venue.

(Met and talked to both bands outside the venue afterwards. Sat on someone's car with Mike Muir drinking beer)
