Me neither. Thought it was quite poor to be honest but i acknowledge that most think it a genuine five star film.
For me Coppola's best film is
Apocalypse Now. I even prefer it to The Godfather films, actually i don't love those like i probably should.
Despite this i still think of Coppola as a visionary film maker, one of the new breed along with Bogdanovich, Lucas, Altman, Scorsese, Beatty. Basically the film makers working out of the Hollywood system in the decade that was 69-79.
