I really like Cutthroat Island. Loved it at the cinema. It was the first and only pirate epic i saw, and it's one that i've upgraded from vhs to dvd and soon to Blu.
I know it doesn't have a great reputation probably because it was the movie that ruined Carolco, but i bet it still stands up nowadays. |
I watched it just a couple of weeks ago. It was eye-rollingly bad in some places but it kept me watching. One of those guilty pleasures where if you are channel hopping, and you come across it half way through, you pause, and before you know it, you've stopped till the end
