Round to mates again and he had sprung for the Michael J. Murphy set.
Picking two completely at random, we ended up with ...

Bloodstream (1985) and
Road To Nowhere (1993)

The former being the tale of a "jilted" director who plots his revenge with an accomplice. Decent enough, though the acting was a bit ropey in places.
Was more impressed with the latter, a holidaying couple find they have some extra guests when an escaped nutter sets up camp in their abode. Somewhat sleazier than the first, this one held our attention more readily.

Both films were made competently enough imho.
