We watched A Monster Calls. Thought it was a truly excellent film. I'm not ashamed to admit that tears very much formed at two points during the film. Had to blow my nose at one point.

That's extremely rare for me, I honestly can't recall the last time that a movie made me cry. Thinking about it, I haven't cried since my father's funeral back in 2017. Am keeping on the shelves despite the fact that my wife told me that she wasn't sure if she could watch it again. I would very much recommend this film (despite the tears).
