I can only chalk this up to my wife being a big Fallout video game fan. Because whilst I was entertained by Fallout in tv series form, imo, it really isn't fit to lick the boots of Last of Us (which was the greatest game adaption to date and also one of the greatest television shows ever made!). I also thoroughly enjoyed
Fallout and intend to watch it again because I'm sure there were a few things I've missed.
Having never seen nor played the video game, this was completely new to me but, like
Last of Us, I thought it was extremely well acted, had a brilliant soundtrack, and was appropriately humorous at times.
The last thing I watched was the first season of
Veep, a TV show I haven't seen for a long time, and remembered exactly why I bought the first three seasons - it's very cleverly written, wonderfully performed, and smartly directed - and will rewatch it with the commentaries.
