There *are* missing frames in the 2015 release, but it's not due to censorship
The early NTSC, PAL, and initial HD telecine of the 16mm negatives deleted frames at each splice point. This resulted in a reduction to the running time of approx/ two minutes leading to a version that lasted just under 107 minute [Later releases have restored these missing frames, bringing the running time up to 109 minutes]
