Midnight Run (1988)
Probably the best odd couple buddy movie ever made and also one of the best road movies ever made thanks not only to great performances from stars Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin but also the rich supporting cast including Dennis Farina, John Ashton, Joe Pantoliano and the excellent Yaphet Kotto.
There are plenty of laughs as well as action thanks to a hugely witty script boasting some excellent location work in what is essentially a coast to coast movie from New York to Los Angeles with stop offs in Pittsburgh,Amarillo, Las Vegas, Flagstaff and Sedona along the way. Meanwhile Danny Elfman scores the film with a memorable theme.
A genuine favourite of mine and i was delighted with the A/V quality of the Second Sight Blu-ray.
