Police Story. 1985.
A Hong Kong police officer tries to clear his name after he is framed for the killing of a corrupt officer by a drug lord he has tried to arrest. Jackie Chan stars and directs as the police officer Keven also called Jackie in this flick that sees the destruction of a shanty hillside slum, the long boring court scene that does tend to drag on and then the big finale in the mall where no glass is safe. Mixed in with all that is the comedic Buster Keaton/Charlie Chaplin inspiration moments. I always wanted to love this film, the action and fight scenes are always impressive but the plot is not the best.
