Giallo. 2009.
Adrien Brody is the Italian inspector on the hunt for a serial killer and Emmanuelle Seigner's sister has been kidnapped and both team up to find her before she becomes the next victim.
Brody has done some good films to his credit and working with Argento this should have worked but seems like Argento took a laid back approach to this, yes it has his traits of a slasher but not his usual standards. There was a good close up of a needle in the face and a face meeting a hammer, but the story line itself wasn't appealing to me. With the title and Dario we should be expecting the master show some great work but it's more torture porn and the scooby doo killer reveal was a "really that's it" moment. I may return back to this one but won't be anytime soon.
