Received the American region friendly bd set of Dario Argento's Deep Cuts by the Severin label. It wasn't clear to me, exactly what was contained in this set. It came as a (nice) surprise to discover that there are seemingly well over two and a half hours of short films on disc 3.
The three Door Into Darkness episodes that have been scanned in hd show clear improvement. An unfortunate downside for the sd presentation of The Tram is that there is a lot of print damage. So much so that I actually wonder if some might prefer to watch that particular episode on one of the two older dvd releases.
I'm looking forward to watching the two part documentary on disc 1 (I've never had the opportunity to see it with English subtitles). Disc 4's 100 minute television special slice looks like it could potentially be car crash television.
But luckily that disc's main feature of around 40 minutes worth of short films looks entertaining.
Glad I bought the set. Will take a while to work through.
