Sounds like your tv is basically zooming in and cropping the image top and bottom to create a widescreen image. Some early Hammer films were shot open matte and then zoomed in for widescreen viewing. |
Yeah I'm not getting that. I'm getting a full 16:9 screen no matter what I do. Weird.
