I haven't seen it since the original VHS release but remember it as being a quite entertaining cheap Conan knock-off.
I definitely want to see it again in HD as it would be worth it for the nostalgia but I'm happy to wait for a cheaper option.
I'm not sure about the dual release strategy. It only seems to appeal to UHD collectors. I'm sure if they released it just on UHD only they would get the same amount of buyers and then put out a Bluray SE with the same extras and perhaps slipcase they might have tempted me to bite straight away. But now they are stuck with me just buying the inevitable standard edition somewhere down the line.
I know dual editions were all the the rage when there was a jump from standard edition to bluray - I still have some. But the jump in picture quality was massive on that format change. I accept there is a step up with UHD, but for me, it's not enough to tempt me.
