If the hype is like this for a third-rate band from 30 years ago reforming, just imagine what it would be like if the remaining members of The Beatles or Led Zeppelin decided to get back together and tour again !! |
If every newspaper, radio station, tv news etc etc didn't make a huge deal out of it it'll still sell ok, but not as many dates, the problem is it absolutely everywhere as if its the biggest thing to ever happen in music history, hype sells, and everyone wants a piece of it, and how many of them are just trying to jump on the bandwagon? So they can say I was there, how well would they do if it was just basic news like a just stating a band going on a new tour and that's it? It wouldn't, its being hyped, pushed, and overkilled, to the point it in your face and you can't escape it.
