I read the first eighty pages / seven chapters last night of
House of Last Resort. Really liking it. I like how Golden sets things up beautifully by giving us fully rounded characters and delightful scene setting such as the wonderful Sicilian meal. The place sounds idyllic.
Will be going back to it this evening.
