Another month, another PPV! We have just had the 4th 'Bad Blood' event, which was held 27 years after the 1st 'Bad Blood' event [which coincidentally featured the 1st 'Hell In A Cell' match]

Not that this means anything, of course

SPOILER:
  • We opened with a 'Hell In A Cell' match where CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre by pinfall. It has to be noted that, in a throwback to the classic HIAC matches of yesteryear, blading took place and blood was spilt
  • This was followed by a Singles Match for the WWE Women's Championship where Nia Jax performed a super Samoan Drop and an Annihilator on Bayley to gain a pinfall and retain the title. Sadly, there were a lot of botched moved during this match
  • The mid-point match of the evening was standard Singles match where Damian Priest defeated Finn Balor. During this bout, we were treated to 'run-in's' from Balor's 'Judgement Day' stable-mates JD McDonagh and Carlito
  • The penultimate fight was a Singles match for the WWE Women's World Championship which concluded when Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan by disqualification, but because the title cannot change hands on a disqualification... Morgan remains the champ. Oh, 'Dirty' Dom was suspended above the ring in a shark tank! Makes you wish for the return of a 'Judy Bagwell On A Pole' match really
  • Finally... I'll get to that in a moment. The main event was Tag team match where Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeated The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu) when Reigns scored a Pinfall on Sikola. Of course there were run-in's during the match. Last seen at WrestleMania, 6 months ago, both Jimmy Uso and The Rock returned to the ring - Uso who was instrumental in the ending of the match and Rocky to presumably set in motion something that will come to fruition at the November PPV - Survivor Series: WarGames

And that's that. A pretty pointless PPV with the best match easily being the brutal Hell In A Cell thing that opened the event. The other matches were average at best

The WWE return to Saudi Arabia on November 2nd for the next PPV - the 6th Crown Jewel event
