Sparks are an act i always seem to enjoy whenever i hear or see them, this is no exception, and yet i've never owned any of their records. I'd love to rectify that.
Is anyone into them? What is seen as their best work? As a band i'm sure they'd just like me to buy their new album when it comes out. |
I have been a Sparks fan since This Town.. was released. Kimono My House and Propaganda are brilliant, although I think their best album from the early years is Indiscreet.
The two albums they made in America before Kimono are also worth checking out, particularly A Woofer In Tweeter?s Clothing which I love.
I went off them when they went through their Europop years, but got back into them with the wonderful Hello Young Lovers album ( I saw them live on this tour and it is one of the best concerts I have seen ) and have loved their stuff ever since.
Totally unique. Looking forward to the new album.
