When I rented it out when I was younger I didn't like it as I thought it was boring but after seeing the Trailer again, I found a cheap DVD and got it as I thought that know I was older, I would understand it more. Nope it was so boring, it was so meh, nothing much really happened.

The Pelican Brief is easily the worst adaptation of a Grisham novel i've seen.
There are some absolute classics such as
A Time to Kill and
The Firm and some decent ones like
The Rainmaker,
The Client and
Christmas with the Kranks.
Pretty sure you'll be familiar with those anyway.
