The desert location and the hills add to the isolation as sounds are heard in the rocks and one of the dogs get killed. Watching this time I thought, Bobby really should have told everyone what happened to the dog and what he heard as everyone was unprepared for the brutal attack on the Trailer at night.
I remember seeing posters and advertising for the movie at the time and it really did scare you, even just to see those. |
The Hills Have Eyes, along with
Scream, is my favourite Wes Craven film.
I watch it pretty regularly.
