It sounds somewhat bizarre but it is a entertaining watch. The description on the DVD box makes out she is a seductive woman who can absolutely destroy anyone (A la Seagal, Statham or Norris) but it's not really like that, I'd say that the training methods and the portrayal of the person who helps her won't fly today.
Ah Hong Kong Legends, them and Cine Asia, the distributers who walked so Eureka and 88 Films could run. They were good, always had my interest.
Timeline
A group of Archaeologists are sent back to Medieval France to rescue their Professor, who was sent there. They are sent to the time where they help prevent the English from destroying a French Village. A mainly British Cast which contains Gerard Butler, Michael Sheen, Anna Friel and Billy Connelly along with Paul Walker. It's not bad afternoon fodder. |
