World War 1 and the British are held back in the trenches by a strong German line held up in an old farm house of heavy artillery and gunners. A groupe of miners have been brought in to help dig a tunnel under the German stronghold and blow it up so the army can push forward.
This was a brilliant film and quite a sad film I mean when war films are done right now can you not feel anything but sadness young men scared young men sent to their deaths ripped from their mother's father brothers sisters and lovers. I'll use a phrase from a video game because it sums up war perfectly the times may change the flags may change the weaponery may change the rules of engagement may change but WAR ....WAR NEVER CHANGES.
Well worth a watch it's not an action film its more of a showcase of bravery even if your bricking it but people can muster the courage to do the seemingly impossible it's in every single one of us it's just most of any of us have ever been pushed far enough for it to be shown and because of men to like these we have lived in times where we never had to.
