If you're referring to
The Scorpion King, then I completely agree with you that it is rubbish.
I've seen
E.T. multiple times and have the Italian 4K Ultra HD release (as it was available quite cheaply from Amazon Italy) and was surprised at how good it looks and sounds in 4K with HDR and DTS X.
