Yes, I wonder what the hold-up is as well. Aren't the rights still held by Hammer themselves? They're certainly indicated as being the copyright-holders on the cover of AB's old release. I think Bill Lustig still holds the license to the former AB Hammer's in the US but he always said that Blue Underground wouldn't be revisiting them. Shame really, BU could do wonders with
Satanic Rites. Probably because it's such a heavily bootlegged title (and shouldn't be, it's legitimately licensed and copyrighted) which has probably saturated the US market for this title. But if BU decided to put out their Hammer properties on Blu....now we're talking!!
