***Warning Martin Spoilers Below***
I watched Martin last night for the first time (US theatrical cut 4:3 aspect stereo sound) and I was blown away by it. The idea of stripping away all of the 'magical' elements of vampireism and focusing on it more as a medical condition worked really well. Also the ambigousness was good, I have to say that I came out more on the side of him being a vampire than not.
The mininal soundtrack really added to the atmosphere of the film, I escpecially liked the music and effects during the attacks (though I am interested to here what Goblin did for the italian version).
I haven't watched any special features yet so I still have them to look forward too.
