not really, beneath isn't great, Escape is good, i love Conquest and Battle is very poor, more post apocalyptic, but all are better than the Burton remake.
I remember seeing the TV show too that was pretty cool.
The Problem with the second is James Franciscus isn't Chuck Heston and they tried to make his character too much like him.
The new film Rise Of The Apes is more like Conquest as it shows how the Apes take over. I'll watch it because like my user name, i love monkeys....damn it now i gotta watch Planet of The Apes, cheers kyle another late night for pedro...
