I imagine that Anchor Bay US have had to region-lock
The Evil Dead because of Sony releasing it in the UK (and Europe too, I would imagine). I don't have a problem with that actually, Sony have a right to protect their product and investment. Hopefuilly Sony will deliver a comparative package. I don't see why not - both companies are probably utilising the same materials.
