Default Tom & Jerry: Golden Collection Volume 1

Tom & Jerry: Golden Collection Volume 1

After being more than happy with the Looney Tune's Blu Ray release,I have now ordered the Tom & Jerry collection. This one seem's to be in chronological order of release. The first Volume includes 37 shorts (roughly one-third of the 114 Tom and Jerry shorts directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera from 1940 to 1958) Wiki. This is going to be interesting progression from the 40's up until 1958 which was there heyday. The 2nd Volume apparently has been postponed due to Mouse Cleaning, which I am assuming is the portrayal of the maid.

I know it does seem a lot of fuss over nothing,I lost count how many time's the N word was used in Hateful Eight,Its not as though she's portrayed particularly in a bad light, but who I am,just another white middle class honky.

I wonder who these sets are aimed at? I mean they are classic cartoons. Maybe white middle class folks aren't the ones who should be watching them.

perhaps they are aimed cats, mice and dogs? And have you ever seen a cat wield a frying pan or a mouse steal the cheeses then trigger the trap. (mousehunt not included)
