I recently sold my US MGM spec ed DVD to a co-worker and am looking forward to this release big time! Glad to see I didn't need to keep it as the extras are being ported over along with new ones. :woot:

I've already said I won't buy this but I will be very interested to see it beavered with the US BD which I own.

Definitely going to sell my US disc now I know the Arrow has the same PQ as it. Those extras are too good to pass up!

I'm surprised no one here is raving about the release, Arrow have it in stock and are shipping aren't they?

I was raving about it on Facebook. It's only missing a 9 min featurette with Keith Gordon from the US disc and in it's place is a 30 min interview with him, plus another 70 mins of interviews and the mono soundtrack not on the US disc. It's a fantastic release.

I don't venture onto facebook very often so that's why I haven't seen your comments Stephen. It looks like a 'buy' for me, I have the old MGM DVD that I bought years ago and never got around to watching.

I watched it earlier this evening (with the PCM 2.0 stereo soundtrack) and thought it looked and sounded superb. I want to re-watch it with the DTS HD 5.1 track and then go through the extra features, but that will undoubtedly take quite some time!

I love this film but won't double dip for a few extras. The US BD is good enough for me. I find one of the harshest moments of the film to be the harassment scene on the subway. Over 30 yrs before an uncut UK release :rolleyes:

It shipped about a month early. A lot of people got theirs last week.

Ordered it yesterday, I really hope it turns up tomorrow with all the positive feedback about this I can't wait too watch it.
