His comments about DAWN are correct. Above and beyond!  And if that packaging isn't a collector's item,then I'm a monkey's uncle.

This DVD is now officially an award winner - Home Cinema Choice magazine has named it as the best packaged Blu-Ray of 2009. Sorry I can't add a link/URL as I haven't posted 15 messages yet Search for Home Cinema Choice magazine and have a look at their 'Movie Awards 2009' piece on the front page. |

I just found this forum and I unfortunately could only leaf quickly through these almost 50 pages of my all-time favourite movie (seen it at theaters at the tender age of 14 and loved it ever since!), I am still a little reluctant with getting a BD release, as I favour the European cut (aka Argento cut) and would so much like a HD version of that. I have several DVD and even VHS releases and I really love the Ultimate Edition from Anchor Bay - but this seems to be a must have too, will I regret a purchase when a HD version of the Argento comes at a later point? Or is that even ruled out? Knowing myself just thinking about getting it is close to buying it - maybe I start with Day a lil later and then get Dawn ... All these decisions... |
