Arrow Video - City Of The Living Dead

I've recently upgraded to Blu-Ray on the strength of the upcoming COTLD disc. My old dvd player was approaching the end of its shelf life, so it was a no brainer for me.

BFI got a bit of flack recently ( and rightly so, IMO ) for leaving off features from some of their SD dvds that were included in their BD. Forcing people into buying Blu-Ray doesn't work, I'm afraid. Incentives do.

I think this is a great decision. Is there a company that listens more to its buyers than this? I doubt it. Nice one!

Well that's very interesting because this is a debate that is going on in the industry and my take on it all is why punish all those loyal DVD owners who have supported you all these years.

Without a doubt.
Without the success of DVD,Blu Ray would never have taken off.
I use Blu Ray as a tool to watch certain films in HD.

I still buy barrowloads of DVD's.Most of which will never see the light of day on BR.

This is top of my blu ray wants list, i must admit that last year my interest in r2 dvds was low however since picking up the Dawn of the dead blu / dvd i'm becoming hooked on arrows releases especially the time and effort put into them and shameless are doing a great job in releasing some great titles, i am looking forward to the release of City of the living dead because it's a personal fave of mine and the chance to own a packed edition is a horror fans dream, who would have thought we'd get the treatment on a classic fulci like this here in the U.K....

I've just been getting my Fulci anticipations up by watching The Beyond and Voices From Beyond over the last two nights. Can't wait for City which makes May 24th even further away!

Looks like they've got confused with Caligula which will get postcards. Indeed the listing is wrong about the bonus DVD - now they're seperate releases - sadly takes a while to fix retail listings so this might be up for a bit to come.
