According that 10k Bullets review, the BU disc is Region A. Does that mean they've reguon-locked this one as well as Django? If so, that doesn't bode well for the future if BU have started this practise. On the upside, nice to see Arrow getting the edge over BU in that review. Is it just me, or do the Arrow screencaps look cleaner and brighter than the BU ones? I much prefer the look of the Arrow screencaps. Also, just out of curiosity, why is the BU transfer 4GB bigger than the Arrow transfer? I'm only asking because I have no idea about how these things are encoded.

Arrow has DTS-HD 7.1 and 5.1 tracks as well as Dolby Digital stereo and mono tracks (non-HD format) while BU has only the 7.1 track in DTS-HD while the 5.1 and mono tracks are in Dolby Digital (non-HD format). Fewer extras allows for a higher bitrate, fewer audio tracks allows for a higher max bitrate and a higher average bitrate. I was expecting the BU to be significantly larger. |

That explains a lot, looks like there is some sort of distribution delay with the Blu-ray then |

There was a wrong barcode on the Blu-ray so it had to go back to get stickered - hence the DVD has managed to sneak into distribution first.
