The only downside about this release in the inclusion of a documentary that appears on The House BY the Ceemetery DVD which came out last year. But apart from that Arrow have done a good job in the best release of this film according to variouse sorces on the net.

I wouldn't call that a downside as those who haven't bought The House by the Cemetery won't have seen it before.

It's always better to have too many extra features than too few, at least it is in my book.

Came back from a weekend away to find the City Of The Living Dead blu-ray lying on the doormat.

Congratulations to all involved - what a fantastic package. I've not watched City since the VHS days so it's amazing to see such a great hi def picture and sound job done on the film. Great great extras too.

Really hope that the decision is made to put the same work into The Beyond which, for my money, is Fulci's greatest.

Good work guys.

Exactly. I didn't pick up the House By the Cemetery from Arrow, as I'm holding out for it on Blu-ray before buying it again, so I'm happy to have this doco included.

My order for the blu ray was sitting in limbo so i popped down to my local HMV and brought it yesterday, sat down for a coffee and to cancel the order from my iphone only to find it had been shipped between walking into the store and walking out. Nevermind got 2 copies now.

Yup, more extras is never a bad thing - even if I'm less fond of this one personally.

Here's a new online review that is very cool:

Default Arrow Video - City Of The Living Dead

I'm not sure if this has come up before, but an unfortunate mistake on the part of Horror Hound magazine in their May/June issue.

There's an article about essential horror blu rays, and the text describes all of the features of the Arrow edition, right down to Calum's booklet - but then go on to put a picture of the Blue Underground release above it. Oh dear.

How misleading for people who don't know any better.
