Wow! This looks fantastic. I have never owned Day on any format other than video so this blu-ray is a must buy!

Pleased that the full UK art is on the poster. Methinks it's Day's best art by a mile.

It sure is.If that's not a package (along with Dawn) that gives the incentive for a horror fan to upgrade to blu-ray,then I don't know what is!

It's not just that - I mean, looking at that package surely begs the question: what kind of fool downloads crappy torrent files anyway? Call me old fashioned but I LIKE having a library of DVDs and Blu Rays and I am disgusted at the idea that one day, thanks to a bunch of inconsiderate fools who believe their sense of entitlement includes free access to movies (movies which cost a lot of cash to produce and release), I will have to hit a button or two on my PC to upload files that I can then watch on my monitor.

Thankfully, the sheer physical presence of this Arrow release should promise that true fans - those who keep the market alive for Shameless, 4Digital and other indie labels - will lap up Day of the Dead and secure a future for other, lovingly presented special editions of exploitation classics.

(Just to add to this: I realise that the bulk of Hollywood studio product IS disposable and forgettable - but downloading torrents of cult items, where the market is so marginalised, just seems all the more devious. That said, the posters and booklets and HD Master will hopefully see this Day edition doing top business!)
