The Hut: The Beyond DVD

The above release date is January 11th, but probably one should hold out for the February 14th release instead?

That's the Beyond Terror re-release of the Vipco disc....it came out Jan 2010.

I don't know if this has been brought up before on this thread, but is the Arrow release going to contain the behind the scenes footage that was in the extras of the old Anchor Bay (I think) R1 edition?

Looks like another rock-solid package, and will undoubtedly look excellent next to last year's City of the Living Dead. This is my favorite Fulci horror flick, and I can hardly wait to see Sergio Salvati's Techniscope photography in HD.

I don't know if I've properly expressed my glee at this title, but here it is:

I AM SO ****ING EXCITED.

Roll on Valentine's Day!

Arrow's almighty TB release does indeed look set to vastly improve upon the U.S. editions but i have to confess i'm not too keen on Rick's cover. Not one of his best imo and whereas the quality of the relevant artwork itself is fine i find the concept lacking variety.

Nevertheless, i can't wait for this title to rise up on the shelves. A truly titanic package for Fulci's surreal splatfest.

I suppose if you want a film that you can sit through and enjoy whilst the lovely lady sitting to your side closes her eyes and grabs onto year when the zombies and other 'jump' moments occur then this is perfect for a dark Valentine's Day night!
