The main reason was to tell a bigger, much more epic story. Each issue is still full sized (28 pages for the first book and 32 for the second) and it gives the whole thing some scope to feel like a feature-length tale in itself.

That new cover is excellent ( and very different to what I was expecting! ) The two part comic book is a wonderful idea.

Seems weird seeing a black Arrow cover (even if it is just the slipcase).

We thought the Demons titles deserved something different and it allows the artwork to work best if it's black but it certainly takes some getting used to.

I'm dying to see it myself. Not only will it be foil on a matt background but the Demons logo should be in spot UV - as in that lovely shiny effect.
