Thanks for the link. That's funny, had I not come here this morning to post that I probably would have gone to AVManiacs and read that!

There users on another forum saying that the blu-ray version also has at least one instance where the audio goes out of sync.

I cannot be precise where it happens because I didn´t see my copy yet and the user who points this didn´t give more details.

I put the link for this forum so he can post the details here...

The sync error that I noticed occurs at about 21:12 where Martha calls out for Joe in the basement. The music cue and the line "Joe" comes in a couple of seconds too early. Please note that I have only skimmed through the disc so I only noticed the issue in this one spot, but a user on another forum has mentioned that this happens several times. There is also the issue with the repeated frames during the eye gouging, but I doubt I would have noticed that if someone hadn't pointed it out beforehand. Overall, I think this is a very nice transfer and a great package so hopefully these errors can be worked out.

You can use a free program called BDInfo but for it to work out bitrate you need some sort of bluray region free software running in the background. If you just want to know exact video file size then you just need BDInfo and nothing else apart from a bluray drive of course

BDInfo - Blu-ray Video and Audio Analysis Tool

I'm not sure if this had been addressed yet, but has the audio sync problem been corrected on the second pressing discs?

Quote from AVManiacs by Vincent Pereira

"SPOILER!The audio sync error occurs when Martha finds the body. The music for the scene starts as well as Martha yelling "Joe!" before the previous scene of Liza and Emily entering Emily's house ends, and the music cues and sound of Joe puking chunks and blood is all out of sync.END SPOILER!"

I'll take the lack of response as a fairly solid 'no' then.

I didn't notice that synchronisation error, but I'll have another look and see what is on my check disc.

Any news on this issue yet? I'm guessing that the deafening silence means that it's not going to be resolved.

There was the momentary synchronisation error on my disc. However, the information did not reach Arrow in time so it is there on the replacement discs.

One more lost sale then. Perhaps if more effort was put into quality control than into moderation of the forum these things wouldn't happen.
