As much as I hate ignorance too, I reckon that they've just shut the office until 2nd Jan, I run the Facebook for my work, and I'm on holiday, so I'm not checking the Facebook posts and messages whilst I'm off, and I'm certainly not logging into my work emails.

When this first came to light I have I admit I wasn't bothered due to the nature of the footage. But that's not the point. It should be the full length version as directed and edited by the director. Anything less isn't the full film as we know it even if the missing footage doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the film

Don't be a smartarse! What the footage is, doesn't matter. It shouldn't have happened. I'd just like an explanaton from Arrow.

For me, I'm happy enough. I think Arrow's release is amazing. Wanna complain about 6 seconds of a boat in water when the film was completely banned for years? Really? Back in the day I never thought I'd see the day when the BBFC would pass it uncut. And yet, here we are.

Look, I understand the questions and I do think Arrow should reply. But will they?

Yes seriously. I like my viewing material to be uncut on dvd and
bluray. The BU release of Zombie is fine as far as i'm concerned.

OK, fair play to an extent. I just find it incredible that people are up in arms over such a minor aspect to an otherwise fantastic presentation of the film.

It's just so unfortunate that the vast majority on here have no idea what it involves to take a film from print to final encoded Blu Ray. What an incredible risk as well considering that the Blu Underground disc had been available for so long beforehand. Anyone interested in this film would more than likely already own a copy so this needed to be great...and it is.

I'm no Arrow fanboy and have voiced my opinions before on poorer output (Tenebrae being a major one). I think it's fantastic that Arrow took the almighty risk of going through this restoration process and now we are stuck with a debate about a frankly minor aspect that has no impact on the film. It's not even a missing shot. It's a missing part of a shot.

And if you are really that bothered, man up and phone them about the issue instead of hiding behind e-mails, facebook posts and this forum.
