I would agree that Arrow probably don't have the funds that others have but does that excuse them for ignoring the problem? Are there problems with quality control? For me, the release looks great and I'm happy with that but it's not to say I don't understand why others don't feel the same. |

As is being echoed repeatedly around here it isn't what's missing. It's that it is missing. Take one of Arrows next releases the Black Sunday disc. Ive only recently had the pleasure of watching this and it's simply a beautiful film to look at. Now there are simply numerous scenes throughout that have no bearing whatsoever on the narrative of the film. In fact if five seconds of a horse and carriage going by in eery slow motion got accidentally cut, im not sure many would ever pick up on it. But the point is it would be a nice scene missing. I suppose what im gerting at is this is film. It's not like a book where accidentally missing a few lines or even pages (depending on what you're reading) is going to necessarily matter. It's a visual medium and if six missing seconds of a boat is happily ignored now, what could wind up happening in future releases. Have I made any sense? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 |

Surely checking the final running time against the original negative would have avoided this? You'd think that'd be a standard check once the first disc had been printed?
