The free DVD was to reimburse the postage costs of those who sent their faulty discs back in. If you just emailed your proof of purchase you won't get one

Ah okay, thanks. Shame I only knew about the replacements right at the death, although I already own the US DVD anyway.

Hello all,
Just thought I'd post my 2 cents worth regarding the defective disc exchange issue. When I ordered my blu ray of ZFE from amazon.uk back in January, I had no idea about the missing footage. I only found out about it a couple weeks ago, long after their 30 day exchange policy had expired. But I e-mailed their cust service dept, and within 24 hours I received a reply by them basically apologizing that I wasn't happy with my order and that they had promptly sent a replacement copy to me. On top of that I too was able to keep my original copy as the shipping costs of sending it back wouldn't make much sense. Very happy with their service!!
