Before I post this to my blog I would like to point out that I am not looking for sympathy, empathy or support, I'm just trying to explain my absence from the Lab.
Since being "retired" from work I have had too much time to wallow in self pity and the past, I have gone way passed the "self pity" part but the past has caught me up!
I have been experiencing a deep depression coupled with painful memories and have been diagnosed with PTSD. I am getting great help with these "problems" and I'm making great progress.
Please DON'T start posting messages of support or helpful hints, I'm well aware that anyone that I can call a "friend" (virtual or otherwise) is behind me and wishes me well and I thank you for that!
Now get back to posting videos of frogs in blenders or whatever else you were doing. Go on! Bugger off!
