Screenplay Task!

Hey there! I haven't done one of these in aggges - but, having spoken to Sam, thought this would be a nice blog.
Basically, at uni, I've just started the Screenwriting module and our first task was to create an opening scene from the below dialogue. We couldn't change the words, the order of the words, the characters or anything else like that. This is the original script:
1. Oh.
2. Yes.
1. Why are you doing this?
2. It's for the best.
1. You can't mean it.
2. No, I'm serious.
1. Please.
2. What?
1. What does this mean?
2 Nothing
1. Listen.
2. No.
1. So different.
2. Not really.
1. Oh.
2. You're quite good.
1. Forget it.
2. What.
1. Go.
2. I will.
Quite a difficult thing to make a scene out of - anyways this was the very first idea that popped into my head for it - I thought you may like a read....
Obviously the layout of the script will be slightly different on this...
INT. BEDROOM. NIGHT.
1 is lying in her bed watching television. The curtains are drawn and the clock on the wall strikes twelve. She is seen resisting sleep.
A sudden blast of light floods the room, illuminating everything in a luminous green. A high-pitched sound follows, causing the television, the windows and various smaller ornaments in her bedroom to smash and crack. Panic and fear grips 1. She attempts to flee the room but is seemingly held down by an invisible force, pinning her to the bed.
A large orange cylinder fades into existence at the foot of her bed. Inside is a small and very slender figure. The cylinder opens and the figure appears, with a scaly texture to its green skin. He wears a dark gray, tightly fitting
suit. This is 2. He is clearly not of this world.
1.
[Screaming)
Oh.
2.
{Grinning)
Yes.
2 steps closer to 1's bed. With his three skinny fingers he begins stroking 1's face. His hands are rough and are causing her great pain as they scratch away her skin. She is still unable to move.
1.
Why are you doing this?
2.
It's for the best.
1.
You can't mean it.
2.
No.
In 2's hand a long, thin instrument with a gray triangular bead on the tip appears. 2 squeezes the triangular bead. The bead quickly multiplies in size. Several spikes begin to penetrate outwards.
2. (CONT'D)
I'm serious.
2 slowly moves the instrument above 1's body. The spikes are only millimeters from her skin.
1.
Please!
2.
What?
1.
What does this mean?
2.
(Pause)
Nothing.
2 now hovers the device over 1's legs. His slimy fingers violently grip the bottom of her nightdress.
1.
Listen!
2.
No!
2 grips the device tightly. 1 is clearly in great distress and continues to cry in fear. She is still unable to move. Her eyes catch sight of a picture on the wall, now cracked. It is her wedding picture, she is dressed in a huge white dress kissing her husband, a balding man with a goatee.
1.
(Towards this picture)
So different.
2.
Not really.
2 violently pushes the device into 1.
fade to black
1. (o.s.)
Oh!
LATER
The clock on the wall now chimes eight times. 1 is still lying in bed. Her hair is a complete mess. Lying next to her is 2. He has his over sized head leaning on her shoulders. They are both smoking cigarettes.
2.
You're quite good.
1.
Forget it.
Slowly, they both turn to face one another. They giggle and 2 grabs the quilt and pulls it over them.
A loud noise is heard downstairs; the sound of the front door opening and then being shut. 1 immediately pulls down the cover and alerts 2.

What?
The sound of footprints coming up the stairs. 1 and 2 stare at each other. 1 quickly pushes the alien out of the bed.
1.
(Whispering)
Go!
2 rushes over to the corner of the room and quickly puts on his gray suit, zipping it up as fast as he can. In his rush, one of his tentacles get caught.
The footsteps are getting louder.
2 rushes over to the still-flashing cylinder and jumps inside. He begins to close the door, but realising he's forgotten something, he quickly jumps out and rushes over to 1 and gives her one last kiss with all 5 of his lips.
The doorknob slowly turns. The whistling is coming from the other side of the bedroom door.
2 dashes back to the cylinder and closes the door. 1 creates a 'phone me' gesture with her hand.
2.
I will!
With another flash of light, the cylinder disappears.
The door bursts open and in comes a large fat, bald man with a goatee. He glances around the room quickly. His eyes catch sight of 1 who is now trying to cover her bare chest with the blanket.
He rolls his eyes and leaves the room.
THE END.
So, yeah, alien rape.
I'm thinking I should change it - do something less weird - this will be the class/lecturer's first impression of me!

- Hey, I liked it iluv - plus it will certainly make the lecturer take notice of you!
Plus, at uni it's a definite benefit if you get noticed - even if it is for the wrong reasons!
Seriously though, that's some pretty inventive screenwriting considering the initial material you were given. A+ from me mate!Posted 19th January 2010 at 12:42 PM by bizarre_eye@Cult Labs - Wooo! Cheers BE! I was worried about it being too weird, so just wrote another version. Only thing is, I think the newer version is even weirder! Lol! Alien rape or Jack The Ripper Vs. Werewolf Prostetutes? Mmm.
