Thats a great description of his writing style, absolutely spot on. I remember the first time I read Assasin as a naive 11 year old

I love both the purchasing of physical books, and the feel of one in my hand while reading, but If you read even an average amount then I really recommend an E-reader. The pros outweigh the cons. Space is a massive issue in my house, between me and the missus, we must of owned 600 books, it just wasn't practical to keep adding to that number (I still buy actual books from my favourite authors). I've also read more since purchasing my device. I never thought I'd go down the E-reader route and gun to head I prefer reading a physical book, but I wouldn't be without mine, in fact I regard it as a necessity. However, E-readers do have an Achilles heel and that's reference books, especially if they have photos. Obviously a Kindle Fire or any other tablet handles them better but even then the experience isn't anywhere near as good as a 'real' book. |

I've read 'Revival', I thought it was great. King is on a decent roll at the moment and 'Revival' is the best of his latter books in my opinion. Extremely dark in places, in fact it left me a little shaken and that's something King hasn't managed for nearly twenty years. |

Picked up Dan Bischoff's book entitled "Gandolfini": The Real Life of the Man who made Tony Soprano. When I finish reading my current book, this one is definitely next.
