I don't know about the price, but I'm guessing it was £4.99.

The book is about one of the most influential experiments in psychology: the extent to which someone will deliver electric shocks of increasing size to someone in another room when told to do so by an authority figure. It has been re-enacted by various people, including Derren Brown, throughout the years.

Influenced by the Holocaust, his experiment set out to test whether the idea of "I was obeying orders" was legitimate; its findings have very profound implications for all sorts of settings.
