The Film Books Thread

It must've been amazing to see those available in a charity bookshop. I'm pretty sure I have the John McCarty book upstairs and, from memory, it's a good guide to the films listed in the contents. It's probably one I should keep available for when I watch any of the films described within.

In Liverpool this would never had happened but Edinburgh is very different and there are numerous book only branches of the well known charity shops absolutely heaving with great books! I was still surprised to find a book about a 1970s Italian b-movie character actor though!

After watching She Wolf of London last night, now you are in Edinburgh do you hang a lantern outside whenever a dog howls at night so you keep away evil spirits?

I must try to find a lantern on Saturday when I go shopping But that reminds me I should get my copy of The Body Snatcher out to watch. What better time and place to watch it than the Halloween season in Edinburgh.

I'd be avoiding any cab men looking for fare near the castle walls. Especially at night. And no singing for change on the foggy streets either after dark.
