Reading 'Game of Thrones' quite readable! I thought I would struggle with it at first!

Although I haven't read any of the "Game of Thrones" franchise I have read George R.R. Martin before and found his stuff very good.

Along with my usual comics (Dial H, Dark Knight, Incredible Hulks, Iron Man, Hellraiser: Dark Watch, CLiNT, 2000AD, and Judge Dredd: The Megazine) I am currently reading Alan Moore's "Swamp Thing", a reworking that revived and defined a flagging title. The art is great but dated, the story is terrific like everything Moore has ever turned his hand to. I sometimes wish he'd screw up just to prove that he is as human as the rest of us!

Default Iron Man

This new series left me a bit flat for the first six issues, it was tying up loose ends from an earlier story arc. Then for another three issues Stark donned his best "space-going" suit and had a birthday party in space only to end up under sentence of death for his part in the destruction of the Phoenix. An Android Librarian helped him out and slew the entire race that put him on trial.

Now you can think what you like about Tony Stark but he doesn't take genocide lightly and hired a bounty hunter to help him catch the rogue android only to have his suit betray him and the android to pay the bounty hunter for bringing Stark to him! Puzzled yet? Yeah me too.

This is the third issue in this new section of the story arc and is really gripping me. It explains how it was impossible for Momma and Poppa Stark to have a little baby Stark without alien technology and help from a certain Android Librarian...
