Finished Lonely Boy. May start Gogol's Dead Souls as tis next in line. Though the bedroom shenanigans continues apace (insert filth here )
so it might just be whatever comes to hand afterwards ...

I’ve put a pause on Danse Macabre as I didn’t feel like it was the right book for now and have instead decided to read Salem’s Lot which started off fairly slow but now that the ‘sideboard’ has been delivered and Ralph has vanished its picked up quite a bit.

Are you on about the book here or your moving house experience?

Finished Salem's Lot, took a while because it was actually quite a boring read and I didn't feel compelled to pick it up at all.

There was actually a chapter detailing each town member having their dinner, I kid you not...

I think I'll hold off reading for a bit and catch up with my podcasts for a week or two

Let’s get this started! I’ve never read The Dark Tower series before and I’m pretty excited, I doubt I’ll do all 7 in one go though, that’s a lot of reading!

I’ve only read the first one and didn’t think much of it tbh, apparently the series gets better but I’ve not found that out yet

Even in King’s own foreword he says bear with it, it gets better! This first one I believe is just like an introduction to Roland.
