Without the gift subscription i wouldn't buy any movie mags at all. Perhaps a copy of Rue Morgue every now and then.

Agreed. I find the writing in Empire to be a little pretentious. Total Film is a little more down the earth.

I just cancelled my subscription funnily enough, they have revamped the magazine and managed to make it even worse somehow The covers were the only good thing about it. The 4 star review for Suicide Squad was the final straw
