I didn't get to see it this weekend, but I'll be definitely seeing it next week, I've heard nothing but praise from those that have seen it so I'm glad it's doing well Also IMG_0942.JPG

I found it interesting comparing It with The Dark Tower. One a critical hit the other less so but both Stephen King adaptations. It with $117m in it's first weekend in America alone. The Dark Tower still hasn't scraped $100m worldwide and seems unlikely to break even. |

Just goes to show that sometimes adapting his films works, sometimes it doesn't. Anyone who's read his Cell novel should stay well away from the shower of shite film starring John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson, I was so disappointed with it compared to how good the novel is!

Not surprised as when I saw it, the cinema was packed and they were turning people away who hadn't bought tickets earlier or booked in advanced. |

Just had a look at the Vue website, IT is only showing in Halifax until Thursday night for some reason (was hoping to go on Friday night), and the price has increased by nearly £3 per adult! Luckily, in a small town nearby called (H)Elland, they have an old fashioned cinema, run by one guy who still has intermissions in the middle of films and parades up and down the aisles selling ice cream etc from a tray, proper old school style. And, it's a mere £5.50 per ticket too. Think we'll go there instead of getting pissed off with all the teenagers that tend to ruin films in the Halifax Vue
