House of Hammer (1976 UK) Basically Britain's answer to Famous Monsters,this great mag mixed reviews and comic adaption of Hammer movies,and had great covers mainly by Brian Lewis. |

HOUSE OF HAMMER - the best horror mag ever for me. It was the first time I'd read full reviews of films I'd only heard about ( and many that I hadn't! ) The Hammer comic strips were wonderful ( often based on the original shooting script ). And those Brian Lewis covers were works of art. ![]() |
